The Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony held in Springfield Massachusetts came alive as guests trickled in until late. Everyone who’s anyone was present at the show. After all, it’s a special night that is certainly not be missed – and a special moment for all inductees. As NBA legend Dwyane Wade officially turned a Hall of Famer, his presenter elevated the special moment with a unique bespoke suit.

At the peak of the night, former NBA player Allen Iverson arrived at the destination clad in a special outfit to pay homage to the Hall of Famer. Moments later, the 3-time champion took to his Instagram to express his gratitude for the ex-MVP.

As the Philadelphia 76ers legend made his way on the red carpet, people cheered along. What caught the media and fans’ attention was the special number on his jacket.

The Answer’s jacket’s back featured Wade’s Miami Heat jersey. The back of his jacket proudly flaunted No. 3 – and it can be said that Iverson just added the right amount of glam and joy to the athlete’s big night. Later, the Flash took to his Instagram to share his delight. He shared the post on his IG story and wrote, “That’s Allen Iverson.”

People are well aware of how much Wade admires the player. Interestingly, he has even stated that he wore No. 3 in the first place to represent his admiration and respect for Iverson himself, who donned the number for several teams, but most famously for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Notably, Wade announced that his idol and NBA icon Iverson will present him at the Hall of Fame months before the event.

It might have come as a surprise to the public. But soon the Heat legend revealed the reason behind his choice. Ahead of the induction, he revealed that he was grateful to be presented by Iverson.

Wade revealed, “I just feel like AI is a culture. I come from the culture, and I want to give flowers and respect to someone who meant so much to my career.”
