The Orlando Magic era of Dwight Howard was one of the most memorable to the fans. The big man was one of the dominant centers in his prime. Unlike his professional career, his personal life didn’t register the same success. The champ fathered five children with five different women. However, the ‘Steel Man’ has always been a doting father. From hyping up his kids on social media to being the best father guiding them, he is dedicated to fulfilling his role as a father.

It so happened one time that his eldest child called him out for being an absent father. He took to his Instagram handle to share his thoughts. Rios’ death was quite hard on Howard. Later in an interview, the champ explained that it was difficult for him to deal with the pain. “It’s been one of the toughest things I’ve ever had to deal with. It’s really hard, especially during this time. There’s nowhere to go. Usually if things are happening, we have basketball or something to keep our minds going. But a situation like this, it’s a situation that I’ll have to deal with forever because of our child,” Howard said to Fox16.

During that time, he also returned to the Lakers where he won his first and only championship. However, some fans raised doubts about his performance when his candidacy for the Hall of Fame was discussed. While currently, the former Los Angeles Lakers player has been making international trips for his games, the champ still has a wish to make a comeback in the league. And so has the fans.
