Robert Horry is unfazed by 3x All-Star’s criticism?

Nicknamed ?Big Shot Bob,? Robert Horry won 7 championships. While he has the most rings apart from some of the Boston Celtics greats from the 60s, he isn’t considered one of the best players ever. In fact, he never even comes close. Arenas was of the opinion that Horry’s rings weren’t as valuable as a contract given to a superstar like James Harden.

In a conversation during the ?Big Shot Bob Pod,? Horry shared what he truly felt about Arenas’ comments. Horry also mentioned how his wife was upset about it. She also asked the 52-year-old to respond to Arenas. But the 7x champion thought otherwise. He revealed, ?I don’t want to read it. I told my wife I don?t want to hear it because you know I don’t argue with idiots.”

He said, “I hope he gets into the Hall of Fame, I hope he was a champion. I hope all these things.” He clearly mentioned how he has no hard feelings for Arenas whatsoever. But what did Agent Zero say that has caused so much debate?

Gilbert Arenas disrespected Robert Horry

NBA icon Magic Johnson once named Horry as one of the greatest clutch performers in the league?s history. Horry won two championships with the Houston Rockets, 3 with the Los Angeles Lakers, and 2 with the San Antonio Spurs. However, Arenas felt he’d rather have a different career.

During a conversation, Gilbert Arenas, Rashad McCants, and Brandon Jennings discussed who they would pick out of James Harden?s $300 million earnings with zero rings or Robert Horry?s $54 million made during his career with seven rings. The 3x All-Star further stated how Horry was never the main guy on any of his teams. Arenas’ answer ruffled a few feathers and probably showcases why winning championships was not that important to someone with no rings.
