It doesn’t look like Charles Barkley will be joining Joy Behar at Big Chicken any time soon. And no, it’s not about some made-up feud with The View legend. Shaquille O’Neal was on her show to promote his new game series, Lucky 13, and his brand new Hersey’s collab, Shaqalicious Gummies, a decade after he last sat down with these ladies. But it wouldn’t be amiss to set the record straight on a rumor with one of its esteemed panelists, Joy Behar.

In the spirit of Lucky 13’s true or false theme, Behar said, “Apparently there’s a rumor going around. A big rumor!” Shaq already knew what she was going to bring up and came prepared with a two-step plan.

Step 1: Blame it on Chuck. “By the way, Charles Barkley, I know you started that and I hate you,” he said after interrupting Behar and left the panel and studio in splits. He doubled down, “Joy, I want to say I would never kick you out of a restaurant. I love you.” But he looked right at the camera and said, “Charles Barkley started that and Charles, we hate you.”

As Behar reiterated, this is a fake rumor that she was kicked out of one of the Big Chicken Shaq stores. It cropped up last week claiming O’Neal allegedly told Behar, “Keep your toxicity out” for turning his restaurant into a debate on The View.

This rumor was not started by Chuckster but a Facebook meme page. Snopes even debunked it as satire after it went viral on social media. That absolves Chuck but Shaq was not done.

After launching the Charles Barkley sandwich, it was renamed the Big & Sloppy because of Chuck’s existing commitments with Subway. It won’t take much effort for Shaq to ban the real Chuck, either. Or at least not include him in an exclusive club with Joy Behar.

Shaquille O’Neal landed Charles Barkley in trouble

Step 2 of redeeming himself before his mom, Lucille O’Neal’s favorite group of ladies, was offering Behar an olive branch. He dipped into his fancy suit and got out a very real Big Chicken card that will get her access to any of its locations nationwide. “So you know what I did? Since I’m the owner of the restaurant, I give you a lifetime warranty. I will never kick you out, never, ever.”

He hinted Behar should start by dropping by New Jersey’s first Big Chicken store that opened this week. The official social media even issued a warm welcome writing, “Welcome to the BIG CHICKEN LIFER CLUB @JoyVBehar!” airing Shaq’s appearance on The View at its store.

However, Barkley is now in deep trouble as at the end of the interview, Behar said, “I want to know if Charles Barkley will come on this show and apologize.” Shaq even threatened his bestie, “Charles Barkley, if you don’t come, I’m going to beat your a**. You better come sit with these ladies.” Save your rep, Chuck.
