“Family FIRST,” Udonis Haslem not just mentions this in his Instagram bio but seems to live by it. And it becomes further evident from the social media posts on every special occasion that he shares with his family. The most recent one has been his wife Faith Rein’s birthday.

The 43-year-old shared an Instagram post featuring a series of photos from the birthday celebration and a photo of the duo on the yacht. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful wife!! The love you have given me over the years has been unmatched and I’m extremely grateful. I’m reminded every day by you and all three of the boys how lucky I am. Thank you for continuing to be our rock and hold it all together… You allow us to shine but none of this would be possible without you!!! I love you WIFE!!!❤️,” read the caption to the post.

This is not the first time that Udonis Haslem has credited his family for everything he has been. He had mentioned his family’s constant love and support in his farewell ceremony from the Miami Heat. The ex-Heat icon stated his family had his back in all conditions. From being the first guy off the bench or him not playing at all. “For me, that’s priceless. That’s beautiful. And that’s why it made it all so easy, just to sacrifice everything,” Haslem said.

The 3x NBA champion’s IG account is a testament of his belief in his words. Haslem’s IG account is filled with posts dedicated to his wife and his children. And he has shared heartfelt messages for his wife every single year on every occasion without fail, whether it be birthday, wedding anniversary or mother’s day.

A closer look into Udonis Haslem and Faith Rein’s relationship

The duo is said to have met back in 1999 at the University of Miami. The rumors of two dating surfaced for the first time around 2001. After dating for more than a decade, the couple tied the knot at Palm Beach, Florida, on August 24, 2013.

“I loved her just as much then as I do now… She proved to be a strong family person and has helped me through rough times. She deserved to be happy, yet I was still afraid of marriage and had convinced myself that with a little more time, it would all work out,” Haslem spoke with the New York Times in 2013.

The couple has had three children born out of their relationship. And Udonis Haslem has never failed to show a similar amount of love to them as he does for his wife. And so, the “Family FIRST” idea is, perhaps, what the 2x NBA champion continues to live by.
