Did Dwight Howard settle his beef with Shaquille O’Neal?

The former Lakers stars were close until an incident during the 2008 NBA Slam Dunk Contest that changed their bond. Howard appeared for the contest in a Superman t-shirt while wearing a cape. ‘Shaq’ accused Howard of trying to steal his persona, and ever since, they haven’t stopped criticizing each other. Especially from Shaq’s end, he misses no chance of coming down heavily on Howard.

When Dwight Howard changed his prediction for the MVP, A fan commented on his changed stance. “Funny you and @SHAQ got tensionand compared him and O’Neal for hating on other centers.

Howard was quick to clarify, “I have no tension with Shaq and second I don’t hate on other centers!” He even admitted his mistake of ignoring Doncic impact this season. “But I’m apologizing to Luka because I didn’t really pay much attention to his impact this season until now so I felt for me not to mention Luka as a snub was terrible on my part💯…” He also highlighted the amazing season Doncic is having with averaging nearly a Triple-Double.

So Dwight Howard is predicting a game 7 win for the Wolves and does not doubt that Doncic might score 30 or 40 points. But why do you think Howard had a change of heart for his MVP prediction?
