Despite saying their future is “in the works,” Larsa Pippen didn’t shy away from dreaming about what kind of wedding she wants with Marcus Jordan. They’ve dropped major hints about engagement and wedding plans over the past few months. Her 16 years younger boyfriend also reserved Michael Jordan as the best man. They’ve spoken about a future wedding short of confirming a proposal.

In November 2023, reality TV newbie Marcus Jordan made his BravoCon debut with the Real Housewives of Miami star. An impending wedding was the hot topic then too. Larsa Pippen went a step ahead and said, “I feel like I really love being married, and I think that Marcus and I are a great couple.” The mother of four had an on-and-off marriage with Scottie Pippen before finalizing a bitter divorce in 2021. She reportedly walked away with half his retirement fund from the Bulls along with 50% of the marital assets.

At BravoCon, she revealed she has high hopes for a proposal or a wedding with Marcus, who she says is very compatible with her. “I feel like we’re enjoying our time together and we have so much in common, she said before adding. “So I’m hoping so.”

When asked about what kind of wedding she envisions, she said she wanted “a private, fun, crazy wedding.” Her future groom might digress. Marcus wanted to have two wedding parties, one for the cameras and a private one for the equally private Jordan family.

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen’s wedding saga

In late 2023, Pippen was spotted with an engagement-grade ring on her finger and kick-started marriage rumors. It was compounded by Marcus ‘joking’ with paparazzi that they were looking at wedding venues. They’d clarify on their podcast, Separation Anxiety, that it was a promise ring. They also said that Bravo tried to confirm with them and asked about having a TV wedding.

Marcus, though, didn’t let the frenzy die down. He repeated that a wedding was “in the works” and that “it’ll happen”. Marcus, who was his dad’s best man at his second wedding, said he wanted His Airness to fulfill the role for his wedding. Since appearing on RHOM, he has said he could be inclined to air their wedding too.

I was 7 when I saw 'Space Jam' but didn't know till the third rewatch the lead actor is actually a living basketball legend. It was while studying journalism that my friend would go on about the Warriors from Golden State. Keen on athletes' personas outside their arenas, it was Stephen Curry's confidence and philanthropy that drew me to follow the news on NBA pros and explore sports media.
