Barkley?s mind-blowing transformation has not only impressed his fans but his naysayers as well. Barkley was a guest on ?The Next Round’ podcast recently, where he detailed his journey.

As the host complimented him, Barkley shared, ?I?m down almost 70 pounds, I got another fifteen to go. I am gonna get to 270. I am 285 now. I started my journey at 352. I was a fat A** for a long time, brother.? Following this, one of the hosts pulled out an old photograph of young Barkley relishing a slice of pizza.

While the host?s initial assumption of Chuck was 235 lbs, the actual weight turned out to be more than that. Barkley revealed that he used to weigh somewhere around 285 lbs during his college days. Soon, he rolled out a list of his favorite eateries in Auburn. He said, ?The Supper Club and the Hungry Hunter. Those were our two hangouts.?

While the hosts appreciated him for carrying it well, it is notable that the Philadelphia 76ers legend had to lose weight to get fit for playing in the league. But after his retirement, the legend gained weight again. He was even criticized by his best friend, Shaquille O’Neal.

Barkley?s Inside the NBA co-host and long-time friend, Shaquille O?Neal, took a dig at the Chuckster?s weight some time ago. Speaking of an unusual syndrome, he said, ?I had a syndrome called CBOTBB. That’s Charles Barkley Over The Belly Belt.”

While the Big Aristotle took his opportunity to tease his former rival, let’s not forget that it was the Los Angeles Lakers legend who advised Sir Charles to get in shape. Things have changed for Barkley, thanks to his determination and O’Neal’s advice.
