Anything Michael Jordan gets involved with becomes successful. Even his simple photos are marketable, which is understandable given how everything about the basketball legend is iconic. The wagging tongue while dunking and leaps that make you doubt physics are all super cool. No wonder another iconic moment of the 6x Champion, which later turned into a viral meme, was used again in an argument defending Anthony Edwards.

Just recently, the Minnesota Timberwolves star reminded us of his gravity-defying abilities. His violent dunk that had John Collins as the victim is going viral on social media. Former NBA stars like Dwyane Wade, Kevin Garnett, and more have already praised the dunk. However, there are some criticisms among the netizens too, with them saying it wasn’t a dunk as Edwards threw the ball into the rim. So one of them just got a warning from ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins who sent Jordan’s viral meme which has him saying, “Stop it, Get some help,” in response to a fan’s comment on X.

For those who missed out on the most interesting highlight of the season and perhaps the best of Edwards’ career, here is what went down. It was during the Minnesota Timberwolves game against the Utah Jazz tonight. Edwards’ eyes lit up as he seemed to jump out of the building as he threw down a nasty dunk on John Collins. Both of them could feel the after-effects.

The Timberwolves star dislocated his left ring finger as his hand got fiercely rubbed against Collins’ cheekbone. Despite the injury, Edwards was back in action after spending a few minutes nursing his dislocated finger. Not to forget how his impressive game led the Wolves to a 114-104 victory over the Jazz. On the other hand, Collins suffered a head contusion and didn’t return to the game.
