This year’s March Madness has received its final four participants for the next stage of the women’s NCAA tournament. South Carolina and NC State had already claimed their position in the ‘Final Four’ stage. And now, Iowa Hawkeyes and UConn Huskies, too, have now advanced to the next round. The guards of both teams, Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers respectively, set the court on fire with their contributions on the night. The two matchups and the performances delivered seem to have left Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade in awe of the women’s teams.

The Hawkeyes have averaged 92.8 points, 37.3 rebounds, and 21.9 assists per game this season. On the other hand, the Huskies have managed 81.5 points, 35.3 rebounds, and 18.5 assists per game. But the Huskies seem to have an advantage over their Final Four opponents in terms of defensive abilities. The Huskies have a defensive rating of 99.0 as compared to Iowa’s 94.0.

However, the most differentiating factor for the Hawkeyes will be the presence of Caitlin Stark on their roster. The 22-year-old is arguably the best player in college basketball at the moment. And she is also one of the most in-demand players right now. She did not receive a $5 million offer for the Big3 league for nothing.
