This year’s March Madness has received its final four participants for the next stage of the women’s NCAA tournament. South Carolina and NC State had already claimed their position in the ‘Final Four’ stage. And now, Iowa Hawkeyes and UConn Huskies, too, have now advanced to the next round. The guards of both teams, Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers respectively, set the court on fire with their contributions on the night. The two matchups and the performances delivered seem to have left Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade in awe of the women’s teams.

It is worth mentioning that Caitlin displayed one-sided domination against the LSU Tigers with 41 points, 12 assists, and 7 rebounds in the game. Meanwhile, Bueckers emerged as a star performer against the USC Trojans. She led the scorecard with 28 points, 6 assists, and 10 rebounds in the game.

Notably, the Huskies are presently at the top of their Big East conference with a win streak of 13 games. Meanwhile, the Hawkeyes are at the second spot of their Big 10 conference with a win streak of 10 games. However, Iowa has a statistical advantage over the Huskies.
The Hawkeyes have averaged 92.8 points, 37.3 rebounds, and 21.9 assists per game this season. On the other hand, the Huskies have managed 81.5 points, 35.3 rebounds, and 18.5 assists per game. But the Huskies seem to have an advantage over their Final Four opponents in terms of defensive abilities. The Huskies have a defensive rating of 99.0 as compared to Iowa’s 94.0.
