Just a few months ago, Shaquille O’Neal was the subject of speculation and discussions due to a dinner rendezvous with renowned social media personality and model, Brittany Renner. As illustrious as Shaq’s professional journey has been, his personal life has encountered its share of challenges. The 31-year-old model had to address that outing now in front of the cast of Basketball Wives, which included the 4x NBA champion’s ex-wife, Shaunie Henderson.

Following a series of obstacles, Shaq and his ex-wife separated in 2011. They share 4 children together. On the other hand, Renner is the mother of a child with Charlotte Hornets star PJ Washington.

While the Los Angeles Lakers legend frequently finds himself surrounded by dating speculations, the most recent one may have created an awkward dynamic for his ex-wife and a friend. Shaunie and Renner joined other basketball wives for dinner recently.

The VH1 show took an uncomfortable turn when Evelyn Lozada posed a direct question to Renner regarding her association with O’Neal. As Lozada asked, “I know you’re looking for a husband but is the husband Shaquille (O’Neal)?” Renner shared, “No. He’s one of the people I’ve always talked to. He’s just a good guy, and that’s just kind of it. There’s really not much to it.”

Lozada, looking towards Shaunie, said, “I’m not gonna up for you for it but she really don’t care. But it’s just the timing for me.” She was backed by another basketball wife, who said, “I don’t think anybody cares about what anybody does, but there’s also a respect. So it just could have been like, ‘Hey, heads up, this is the scenario.” This led Renner to reply, “Yeah I think I have nothing to hide.”

Despite the 31-year-old’s assured reply, the presence of the Big Aristotle’s ex-wife Shaunie Henderson, sitting across from her, must have caused some unease. The question was raised several months after Brittany’s dining outing with O’Neal surfaced online.

In June of this year, the basketball star was seen having dinner with the model in Beverly Hills. It didn’t take long for the photos of the two leaving the restaurant to start circulating on the internet. Soon, it grabbed the attention of fans and fellow sports personalities.

This was discussed on the ‘New Rory and Mal’ podcast, where the host stated, “Shaq, I better not hear you say a f**k** word about Zion Williamson, since you’re a commentator. You f****d a girl that wrote a tell-all book about you. And then now, you’re f*****g a girl that already wrote a tell-all book.” He further advised O’Neal to stay away from authors.
