“A good man apologizes for the mistakes of the past, but a great man corrects them,” Goethe once said. And it seems hip hop artist J Cole has lived up to the quote. He not only apologized for his actions in the beef with fellow rapper Kendrick Lamar but also has taken a measure to correct them. This gesture has won a lot of hearts; one is of Celtics icon Kevin Garnett.

Taking to his official Instagram account, KG re-shared a reel to his IG story. The reel showed Cole apologizing at the Dreamville Festival in North Carolina for his involvement in the feud with Lamar. “Took a lot to hold yourself accountable for your part in Somin… Respect Cole…” read the caption to Kevin Garnett’s story.

It is worth mentioning that the apology from Cole is for a diss track on K-Dot. Rather funnily, the whole thing started in an attempt to show solidarity on Cole’s end. The 39-year-old had previously collaborated with Drake for the track ‘First Person Shooter.’ One verse of the track mentioned Drake, Cole, and Lamar as the Big-3 of the current hip-hop scenario.
