Teyana Taylor is reportedly pushing for serious action against Iman Shumpert. The actress has been in the headlines ever since details of their divorce settlement started making the rounds. The past few days have been anything but easy for Taylor, with rumors swirling about the leaked documents. But now, there’s a new twist—her legal team is allegedly pushing to have Shumpert locked up, suspecting that he might be behind the leaks.

As per the legal documents obtained by TMZ, the actress revealed that she has been criticized over the leaked documents, which led to the misleading reports being circulated. She added that no settlements have been made, as the court awarded properties to both parties. 

She seemingly believes the leaks coincided with Shumpert’s music release, which got his name trending. As per the reports, her legal team claimed that Shumpert was allegedly using their divorce to his advantage and demanded 20 days in prison along with fines. However, nothing is confirmed as of yet. 

The two filed for divorce in January 2023. However, she chose to keep it private until September of that year to avoid unnecessary attention and criticism. This has now become the talk of the town. The divorce was finalized in July, 2024. 

Ever since then, there have been several rumors regarding their divorce settlements, despite the actress’ efforts to keep the details private. The latest reports claimed that the actress received four properties, reportedly worth $10 million, while the former NBA player was given three properties. It was also suggested that the NBA player has been ordered to pay $8,000 a month for their daughters, Junie and Rue Rose.

This comes after Shumpert requested that the child support payments be reduced, citing that Teyana ($94,000 a month) makes twice as much as him ($48,000 a month) as per Daily Mail. Amidst the drama, she was caught up in dating rumors as well.

Well, they’ve been spotted together at quite a few events lately. From the pictures Pierre shared, the two attended the Fifteen Percent Pledge Gala in Los Angeles side by side. Then, when Pierre was honored with the Rising Star Award at the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) Honors, reports surfaced that they were seen together there as well.
