Janet Jackson is also riding the same wave. As a superstar singer, Janet’s taste in fashion leads her to continually add the latest items to her collection. Consequently, she keeps adding both new and old pairs of Jordans to her wardrobe. Once again, she finds herself in need of a new pair.

To acquire them, she went shopping with Complex’s Joe La Puma at Stadium Goods. The glimpse of this shopping trip was posted on Complex’s official YouTube account under the title, “Janet Jackson Goes Sneaker Shopping With Complex.” While browsing for new shoes, Janet Jackson came across the Dior x Air Jordan 1s.

“These were given to me, and they are great shoes, very rare… I wore them, and there are times when the high top is a little too much. It cuts strongly into my ankle, which was, that was the case with these,” she said in the interview. Justifying the complexities of the shoe design, she added, “So I wound up giving them away. I wore them once. They are just beautiful. I loved them, I loved them.” Even though she’s fond of Jordans, she’s also honest. Since she didn’t like the sneakers, she chose to give away the $2200 pair. Speaking about her experience shopping at the store, she continued, “I absolutely love it, this is like a sneaker heaven, a sneaker haven, and it’s nice to be able to shop like this.”

Janet Jackson typically doesn’t go shopping by herself, but this time is different. As she went to Complex after making headlines to prepare for her return to the stage, it seems she’s shopping for something special for her appearance. After 13 years, Janet’s fans have been eagerly awaiting her return to the stage, and it’s finally happening at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The purpose of visiting the store was finally fulfilled as she found the perfect pair for herself: dusty rose Nike shoes. However, this was not the only pair she purchased. She went on to add more, not for herself, but for her son. In the end, she had a bill of $2000 and four bags.
