Redick said that Haliburton is now a superstar after listing out his long list of achievements this season alone. The 39-year-old sounds extremely impressed by the way he has been shaping up into an athlete. Haliburton was the 12th overall pick in the 2020 NBA draft when he was signed by the Sacramento Kings.

After spending two years with the franchise, he moved to Indiana in 2022 and is already showing great signs for the future of the franchise. What’s even more impressive is that he was not on many people’s radar during that year’s draft and yet has managed to impress veterans like Redick.

Redick said that the Pacers’ offense this season has been historic and the credit goes to their “pilot” Haliburton. He said that Haliburton is averaging 26.9 points per game 11.9 assists and 52% from the field. Redick said that no player has “averaged 25 points 10 assists and 50% shooting for an entire season”. His stats from this season are at par with some of the greats of the game like James Harden and Damian Lillard. For this quality alone, at the tender age of 23, Redick believes that these stats are worth sharing and people should take note of the same.

Redick said that there were not a lot of people looking for him during the 2020 draft and “a lot of folks are scratching their heads right now”. ‘Ty time’ has got the world on notice and him and his Pacer’s have a point to prove.

Haliburton’s confidence is out there for everyone to see. With the way he is dismantling the opposition’s defense and leading his team, the Pacers can expect a lot from this NBA season. After their recent win against the mighty Bucks, the youngster decided to shut down the haters who are trying to downplay their dominance.

He said, “We keep shocking the world… were fun, were energetic, I just want to prove that it’s not a fluke”. The message is loud and clear from the in-form point guard. Now they have one more hurdle to get past, that is the Lakers in the In-Season Tournament’s final.
