Hilarity seems to run among the Perkins equally well. The ESPN analyst and wife Vanity recently celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary, sharing heartwarming notes on Instagram for their special day. However, Vanity’s post wasn’t your usual. Kendrick Perkins made a row of mistakes during their anniversary celebration. And the 39-year-old didn’t let it slide.

In a hilariously long Instagram post, Vanity detailed the ordeals revealing, “Moral of the story is I been dealing with this foolishness for over 20 years and I just realized I really don’t even like this dude👊🏽 Happy Anniversary baby cakes👊🏽 #15YearsAndCounting.” While Vanity joked about her revelation, she expressed her happiness in being married to her best friend. But here is what happened as Vanity shared in her IG post.

The mother of four had prepared a romantic vow renewal in Costa Rica, which the ESPN analyst ruined by not preparing his vows. This was followed by another ‘not so clever’ gesture when Perkins asked the photographer to shorten a four-hour photoshoot to 45 minutes because he doesn’t like taking photos. 

He went even further during their dinner when Vanity tried to sing to create a romantic vibe, but her husband ruined the moment with his constant talking. Even Perkins’s reaction to their beautifully decorated room, prepared by Vanity, wasn’t what she had expected. “Finally we get to the room that I had decorated all nice while we are at dinner for him to walk in telling me “you swear we in a movie,” Vanity wrote.

Kendrick Perkins and Vanity Alpough reportedly met each other during their high school days. After building onto the relation for about 8 years, they tied the knot on the 25th of July, 2009, at Carlton Woods Country Club. They have built a family of six over two decades. When it came to celebrating it all, Perkins couldn’t have been more of a romance killer! But maybe not at all times.

 Texas Mr. Basketball deserves some praise for his heartwarming Instagram post dedicated to his wife. Celebrating all these years of togetherness, Perkins wrote, “When you have been rocking for this long like us it’s no big long paragraph that can tell this Love Story ❤️ today my beautiful wife @_queenvanity…” Shaunie Henderson’s husband, Pastor Keion Henderson, along with Mark Jackson, Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson, and others, wished the lovebirds a happy anniversary in the comments section.

Perkins may have been a goof ball against his wife’s preparations, but he has proven to be present at given opportunity. His first instinct after completing the NBA season was to get back in the hood with his family. “After completing another year of covering the NBA. I’m Headed back the crib to be with my wife and children,” he wrote on Instagram, wearing a pendent with all of his family fit in a circular frame.

The couple shares four children, Kendrick Perkins Jr., Kenxton, and twins Kanter and Zoey. We will let Vanity decide whether the analyst deserves extra points for the sweet IG post.
