It’s every young basketball star’s ultimate dream to feature in the NBA. Getting to the uppermost echelon of basketball is not an easy thing to do. But the lucky ones who do get a chance to enter the league are greeted by the Summer League where they get their first taste of real basketball. Turns out the onus of winning the Summer league championship has just gone up as the team as the ultimate prize for winning the summer league was revealed and even Kevin Garnett was surprised.
The NBA Draft just went down and some of the best basketball players entered the league from all around the world. We saw the like Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson, two of the best prospects, face each other in the summer league. It’ll be interesting to see who will emerge victorious in the tournament before the regular season.

Former NBA Champion approves of the ultimate summer league prize
Kevin Garnett, the 15-time all-star, was presented with the prize of winning the summer league. Whichever teams wins the summer league they will be presented with a diamond-studded gold ring. Safe to say that Garnett was mesmerized by the beauty of the shiny ring.

Kevin Garnett said, “This is where the league starts. Right here. Don’t matter where you go you are gonna always have this moment.” Garnett certainly got super pumped when he witnessed the ring as during his time the winners of the league got hot dogs and a red bull can. Garnett’s KG: Certified post a clip on Instagram with the caption, “The Crown Jewel of Summer League The young guns of the Cavs and Rockets have been putting in work over the last few weeks for this moment. Who will go home with the hardware?”
