This season, many players in the NBA have gone down with ankle injuries, with Boston Celtics star Kristaps Porzingis being the latest one. Having witnessed all these NBA stars suffer, Celtics legend Kevin Garnett has a bit of advice for the players to make themselves more durable.

“So I’m watching all these ankle injuries… TO all the athletes out there that’s having ankle problems here’s some free game!! ANKLE ROTATIONS.. start with 20 each way on both feet!! I’m telling you sh*t works! Try it n check back in with me!! Your welcome.. thank me later,” wrote the 2008 NBA champion on his Instagram story.
A small ankle sprain is enough to keep a player out for weeks. So Garnett wants the players to make themselves more durable by working on their ankle mobility since it is a very common place to get injured. This can easily happen while stepping on someone else’s foot, similar to how Porzingis got injured earlier today.

Currently, there are many stars in the NBA who are missing time due to an ankle injury, 12 to be precise. Stars like Zach LaVine and Bradley Beal are yet to come back from their injuries, while LaMelo Ball, who went down in November, recently made his return to the court.
Kevin Garnett, who has had his own share of injuries in the past, knows the importance of being healthy and injury-free.
