As the In-Season Tournament was coming to a close in Las Vegas, many celebrities also joined the event. One of them was Kevin Hart, who lit up the media with his charm and hilarious commentary while talking about the incredible plays by LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Among the bright lights of Las Vegas, one thing that caught the attention of Hart was the outfit worn by NBA champion Richard Jefferson.

As soon as Richard Jefferson walked in with his tuxedo, Kevin Hart could not hold back and questioned why Jefferson would be wearing that to a basketball game.

Kevin Hart was on NBA Unplugged, and Richard Jefferson came on screen to talk to him. But as soon as Hart saw Jefferson, he made it clear that he was not a fan of Jefferson’s outfit.

Hart did not contain his thoughts and let Jefferson know how he truly felt. He hilariously pointed out the obvious after seeing Richard Jefferson wearing a tuxedo to an NBA game.

Kevin Hart said, “Looking like the man on top of a wedding cake, Richard Jefferson has joined us… I’m gonna be honest with you Richard. For me now. Operating in this space what I wanna be known for is just honesty. I don’t like it. I don’t like it one bit. I don’t like it and I’m confused. At the end of the day, we are talking about basketball, so why the tux?“

While Jefferson’s former teammate LeBron James was making history on the basketball court, Jefferson was left alone to defend himself. As he had nothing to say to escape from Kevin Hart’s comments, Jefferson just stated that he was trying to make the event bigger than it already was.

The in-season tournament was a success

All the players were dialed in. There was a playoff atmosphere to the game, and it is safe to say that Adam Silver knows what he is doing. The Los Angeles Lakers lifted the first-ever IST trophy. But the tournament also helped teams like the Indiana Pacers, who have stayed away from trophy contention for some time now, truly understand what goes behind winning a championship.
