Kendrick Perkins claimed Kevin Garnett was the ultimate trash talker

Former player turned basketball analyst Kendrick Perkins recently made an appearance on Patrick Beverley’s The Pat Bev Podcast. During the show, the former center discussed a lot of interesting topics. Amidst this, he talked about the unreal trash-talking of Kevin Garnett. When the host asked who would talk a lot of trash between Perkins and Garnett, he replied that no one can out-talk The Big Ticket.

He then revealed some wild stories of Garnett to highlight the extent of the Hall of Famer’s trash-talking abilities. Perkins noted that his teammate once grabbed a player’s jersey before tip-off and said that he doesn’t even know the player’s name. The former center stated that it was the ultimate disrespect to anyone in the league.

Perkins added, “One time he went on and took like a, you know take your finger and you may like dip in the icing of a cake or something. And he like swiped his finger on the back of somebody jersey and he was like, ‘This mot******ker, he’s sweet!'”

The sportscaster noted that he could not believe how anyone could come up with things like this spontaneously. He also said that he asked Garnett whether he plans stuff like this the night before. Perkins stated that KG’s “noise talking” was on another level.
