The Bryants needed a little more bling and dazzle this Christmas. So, they made one!

There are millions who wear shoes that pay tribute to the late Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna Bryant. Just recently, Nike released the Vapor Edge Kobe 6 USC cleat for the USC Trojans. But there’s one member of the Bryant family who could not get to wear the shoes. Not this Christmas, though.

Vanessa Bryant just shared a glimpse of the ‘family members’ wearing a brand-new pair of shoes. It might not be released for public sale, though. And why is that? Simply because these ‘members’ are none other than cute Santa dolls!

Vanessa shared a snap of her Santa dolls on her IG Story. They were seen wearing knitted red sneakers. A slight white section can be seen knitted near the shoe cap. On the side, a black symbol that looked like it could be the iconic swoosh. However, the highlight is the Mamba symbol that is knitted in black on the shoes.

The mother of four also showed a closer look at the shoes and confirmed that the symbol resting on the tongue of the sneakers is indeed the Mamba symbol. She added a “That’s Mamba” sticker. The knitted material gives off the perfect Christmas vibes.

When looked closely, these shoes resemble the latest Kobe 9 Elite High Protro. It’s possible that Vanessa paid tribute to these iconic shoes with the miniature knitted ones.

This new release also has some fascinating additions. The Nike React foam is added to the midsole, and it features a Flyknit upper. To honor the 10th anniversary of the Christmas colorway, it has retained the original Bright Crimson upper, elevated with Emerald Green accents.

Just recently, Nike also released the most coveted Kobe 6 ‘Grinch.’

The new look of Kobe Bryant’s ‘Grinch’ Sneakers for Christmas!

The Nike Kobe 6 ‘Grinch’ sneakers were first revealed to the public when Kobe Bryant wore them during the Christmas Day game against the Miami Heat in 2010. While it was the Miami Heat who secured a 96-80 win with LeBron James dominating on the court, Los Angeles Lakers legend Bryant’s shoes were an absolute hit!

The lime green color, which reminded fans of the character Grinch from Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas, quickly became famous. It was revived in 2020. Luka Dončić and Tyrese Haliburton have previously flaunted these shoes. This year, it got a whole new upgrade.

Perhaps responding to the popular demand, the Nike Kobe 6 Grinch design is now made available in football cleats. Sharing a glimpse on her IG, Vanessa wrote, “Hope you’re on the “nasty list” this year! #KobeCleat #boot #Kobe6 #MAMBA 🏈 🏀🎅🏽.”

Several NFL players have customized the shoes to wear on the gridiron, but this is the first official version. It has maintained the same scaly green texture along with a black swoosh. Priced at $230, these new cleats are a pure delight!
