It is sporadic to see decades-long friendships among celebrities. But that’s how long La La Anthony has known the Grammy Award-winning artist, Kelly Rowland, when both established their foothold in the industry. At the time, the Bad Guardian star was a VJ, while Kelly Rowland was part of Destiny’s Child alongside Beyonce. So, when the singer-turned-artist celebrated her recent milestone, it simply stunned La La and wasn’t alone.

Rowland added with a post, “Well here we are, 44😉.” La La Anthony shared the photo in her story and wrote, “Wooowww!!!!” She also dropped another message through an Instagram story, mentioning, “Screaming Happy Birthday to my best friend @kellyrowland I need a minute to gather myself after these pics just dropped!!! 😍😱 OMG.” Being best friends since their teenage years, just adding a message to the story felt incomplete.

It was when Destiny’s Child was really in the beginning stages. They came to promote the show in Atlanta. The BMF star was also new to her radio show and was 16. Since then, both have forged successful paths and support each other strongly. So Kiyan Anthony’s mother even added a comment to the post.

Yes, La La Anthony stated, “She is all about taking care of your skin, taking care of your body, all of that stuff.” The reason Rowland is her go-to person is simply because she “has it all figured out.”

Even last year’s birthday message signified the important role Rowland played. “You always look out for everyone, your heart is unmatched AND you always make sure my makeup brushes are clean & I take my makeup off at night! 😂😂I love you! Get to NYC so we can celebrate 🥰😘🥰🥰.” Thanks to that advice, La La Anthony explained how she became more aware and how it became a turning point in her life.

The Chi star also highlighted Rowland does things that nourish the mind, body, and soul. Even the singer credits La La Anthony for becoming a crucial part of her life. “What you see is what you get with La La. Her smile is real. She’s just a great soul. I just love my La.” Even today they are best friends and soon will complete three decades of their friendship.
