However, Rodman never let the off court negativities affect his play, which reflects in the fact that he is an eight-time All-Defensive star. In an interview, a 67-year-old Lakers icon who once ‘feared’ Kobe Bryant recalls one of Rodman’s bizarre defensive tactics.

Michael Cooper is a former NBA player who played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1978 to 1990. Cooper and Rodman faced off multiple times in the NBA. The former Laker had high praise for the five-time NBA champion.

He praised the Chicago Bulls legend in his interview, “One thing about Dennis, if there was anyone back then in that era that played all the 5 defensive positions, Dennis was the only one who could do that.“.

He knew all of Rodman’s defensive tactics: the regular and the unusual ones. Michael Cooper reveals an unusual tactic of Rodman’s as he says, “Dennis was tough, didn’t mind sticking his nose in there and getting it knocked off, or he didn’t mind wearing lipstick, getting a little lipstick on your shoulder.“.
