Teammates are a lot like family. And one of the most winning teammates in NBA history has revealed his intersection with Mr. ‘Familia’ himself, Vin Diesel. Having won 7 championships during his time in the NBA, Robert Horry is accustomed to being at celebrations and parties. However, he recently recalled the ‘best birthday party ever‘. During the latest episode of the Big Shot Bob podcast, the Los Angeles Lakers legend revealed how much fun he had at Vin Diesel’s birthday party in Miami, and surprisingly, it was one that he didn’t even know about.

“I actually ended up at one by mistake. I went to Vin Diesel’s birthday party in Miami. It was a while back. I was like, ‘Oh sh*t! It’s Vin Diesel’. We hung out a little bit, and he came up to me and was like, ‘Rob. Thank you for coming to my birthday party.’ And I was like, ‘Oh, sh**! I didn’t know it was your birthday party,” recalled the 7x NBA champion.

Horry didn’t even know it was Diesel’s birthday celebration. But he did admit to enjoying his time. Hilariously, little did he know that the best part was coming later on. During the party, Diesel’s assistant took down the address of Robert Horry and later sent him “a swag bag.”

It came with a PlayStation among some other fun stuff, which Horry didn’t get much of a chance to enjoy as his son immediately took hold of them. It is no surprise that the ‘Fast and Furious‘ actor threw one of the best birthday parties ever, as his co-star from the film is also notorious for his extravagant birthday celebrations.

Vin Diesel is not the only celebrity who throws the best birthday parties

Juts like his co-star Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson is another celebrity who is known for throwing grand birthday celebrations. For him, rather than a birth’day’, Gibson celebrates the entire month.

The 45-year-old throws parties for himself across the USA and sometimes even in other countries. Early in December, Gibson celebrated with his friends, where NBA legend Scottie Pippen was in attendance with many of the ‘Fast and Furious‘ cast.

Later on in the month, Gibson decided to take his celebration international and went to Dubai as he officially turned 45 on the 30th of December. No news yet on whether a “swag bag” was part of the mix this time.
