Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen’s lives have well and truly disconnected. It became obvious from Marcus’ personal updates and the entire season 7 of RHOM for Larsa. In fact, Larsa disclosed some huge developments in her personal life in the season finale of Real Housewives of Miami involving her current boyfriend, Jeff Coby. She had started the season single and still suffering the side effects of her breakup with Marcus. Her ex has since had a restart and shared a positive update.

After a very dramatic appearance on last season’s reunion for RHOM, Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen broke up, made up, and broke up for good in February 2024. What followed was months of spiraling for Marcus that culminated in a DUI arrest this past February. Marcus has since been on a journey to maintain his sobriety. This month, his journey hit a new milestone.

Meanwhile, Larsa Pippen is in a new relationship. She began dating Jeff Coby, a basketball player-turned-speaker, earlier this year. Very quickly, Coby hinted marriage plans to paparazzi (like deja vu when Marcus claimed an engagement was “in the works” in 2023). Larsa initially curbed that enthusiasm in a few podcast appearances. The RHOM season finale hinted the opposite.

The closing update for Larsa at the season 7 finale read, “Jeff predicts that they’ll be married by the end of the year. Just in case, Larsa plans on freezing more eggs.”

Larsa revealed she had frozen her eggs some years ago and planned to have kids with Marcus. After their breakup and since dating Coby, the mom of four confirmed this July she plans to have more kids with Coby. “I mean, we’ve talked about it. So I did this thing like maybe eight years ago when I was shooting the Kardashians where we froze our eggs. Okay? So I think I have like eight or 11,” she said on Angela Yee’s Lip Service podcast while also confirming they talked engagement rings.

She’s a new homeowner too, buying her first house that wasn’t a property she co-owned with her ex-husband, Scottie Pippen. She confessed having empty nest syndrome to her castmates after her youngest, Sophia moved to California to live with her dad and finish high school. As of the last RHOM update, she now shares the home with Coby. 

During the first part of the RHOM reunion, Andy Cohen also prodded Larsa about potential plans. And this time she said wedding was on the cards for 2026. Her relationship with Coby is moving fast while her ex is hitting his own milestones.

Marcus Jordan takes new steps after breakup from Larsa Pippen

Even after they broke up, it appeared that Larsa couldn’t shake Marcus Jordan’s presence out of her life. The running theme of season 7 was her friend, Lisa Hochstein’s refusal to remove Marcus out of her social media. But it was worse. It appeared that at the peak of his downward spiral, Marcus sent threatening texts to Larsa. She also revealed it was her kids, led by her eldest Scotty Pippen Jr. who pushed her to break up with him.

Marcus’ lowest point was his February arrest. Part of his sentence is to maintain his sobriety. Michael Jordan’s son is now 180 days sober. The 34-year-old celebrated it with an Instagram post that proved he gave up the vices, but not the party life. “6 Months Sober🚱🚯🚮 & Still The Life of The Party🥳 #180Days 🫡.”

It accompanied snapshots of Marcus’ past six months, including many alongside his dad Michael Jordan. They had not been seen together since an intoxicated Marcus name-dropped his dad several times in body cam footage of his February arrest. In August, the father and son reunited on the Catch 23 for the White Marlin Open in Maryland.

Apart from sharing pictures with his dad aboard Catch 23, Marcus also shared his hangouts with the 23XI team including Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick. Besides his six month milestone, Marcus partied with employees of the Trophy Room this week.

While it looked like Pippen wasn’t getting rid of her ex’s shadow at the start of season 7, Lisa’s dramatic unfollow of Marcus, his sobriety, and her relationship with Jeff Coby mean she’s over that part of her life.
