Ending weeks of silence, Michael Jordan’s son and Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife are back in the spotlight. Following the announcement of the release of their latest shows, the two decided to release the eagerly anticipated episode of their podcast, ‘Separation Anxiety.’ Much to fans’ delight, Larsa Pippen and MJ jr. touched upon how their new reality TV show and how it impacted their relationship.

While the couple were already used to the fame of the ‘Real Housewives of Miami’, they’re both set to feature in a different show entirely. Both shows are likely to have impacted their relationship, and whether it’s positive or negative is worth exploring.

How did ‘Real Housewives’ affect Larsa Pippen and Marcus Jordan?

For the past few weeks, the couple has been quite busy with the shoot of their new shows. While it was Marcus’ debut in RHOM, the couple were also announced to be part of the cast of the famed thriller show, ‘Traitors.’ 

Both Larsa and her beau Marcus appeared in the 6th season of Real Housewives of Miami. The two agreed how the show has brought the two closer. Speaking of the time, they spent together, Larsa said, “I think shooting Housewives and doing the ‘Traitors’ has definitely made us closer.”

The 49-year-old elaborated,Just because we were spending so much time together. Like, we used to spend 23 and a half hours a day, now we spend 24 hours a day together.

Marcus Jordan added, “People always say that putting your relationship in a spotlight could be the downfall of it or filming on reality TV might break people up, but I feel like it actually made us a lot closer.”

They also spoke about how reality TV shows bring out the real version of an individual. Both also offered their opinions on spotlighting their relationship in front of the camera.

Larsa and Marcus discuss the reality TV experience

Despite facing criticism from skeptics who believe reality TV can harm relationships, the couple remains content with their choice.

Their bond has gotten even stronger than before.  However, Larcus have admitted the challenges that reality TV can bring into a relationship.  While Larsa emphasized that cracks or problems in a relationship cannot be hidden from the camera, the Trophy Room owner pointed out how reality shows reveal a person’s genuine side.
