Larsa Pippen is sticking to the theme. The reality TV veteran is keeping it cutthroat even outside the cold Scottish castle of The Traitors. Though there are 21 others in contention for the $250,000 prize, her target is her boyfriend, Marcus Jordan. After his bold proclamations to channel the Michael Jordan mentality while navigating this reality-style parlor mystery, Marcus apparently changed his tune. Pippen, not so much.

In a promotional interview, Marcus said, “Obviously I’m not going to eliminate my girl, you know.” The courtesy is not mutual. Larsa promptly reminded him, “I would have eliminated you by the way.” Her blunt response flustered Marcus who only chanted a litany of “I know.”

Season 2 of The Traitors has finished filming but LarCus isn’t giving away much in the way of spoilers. They do hint at playing traitors very well, including a willingness to stab each other in the back.

Larsa didn’t need help to stab Marcus in the back. She was unknowingly a catalyst to her beau getting ‘murdered.’ From the season premiere, the other contestants were wary that LarCus have a readymade alliance when it comes to an elimination. That is despite both telling host, Alan Cumming, that if push came to shove, they’d murder each other.

The real Traitors alliance of Dan Gheesling, Phaedra Parks, and Parvati Shallow saw Marcus as an additional threat. His natural charm that he’s been promoting was bringing the majority of the Faithful on his side after he was voted the most trusted player in the castle. So they got Marcus murdered. Among the first four eliminations, this was the most shocking early exit. Larsa is still left behind and she’s determined to find her boyfriend’s ‘killers.’

LarCus have each other’s backs

Marcus said it straightforward. “At the end of the day we were competing as individuals.” The prize is after all $250,00 at the end of it. “But there was some sort of alliance there.” Larsa’s readymade alliance is no longer in the castle.

She is however not to be underestimated. Before Marcus was ‘murdered’ to his early elimination, she’d given the Traitors anxiety by putting them on the record. After all, she’s used to cutthroat reality games on The Real Housewives of Miami.

It’s a coincidence that neither Marcus nor Larsa are Traitors. If it came down to it, she presented an open threat to him. But even unguarded, Larsa is holding her own. How far you think a lone Larsa’s chances are on The Traitors?
