James Worthy, a former teammate of Magic Johnson, recently engaged in an interview with the hosts of ShowTime. When asked about LeBron, the heart of the Lakers’ game, Worthy drew attention to a specific characteristic in him that evoked memories of Magic Johnson.

During the interview, the legend touched upon several things. From his time playing with the Lakers and Magic Johnson to lesser-known stories of Michael Jordan, the 3x Champion shared intriguing insights. As the conversation shifted towards the present-day Lakers roster, LeBron James naturally became a focal point.

When asked about the Lakers star, Worthy detailed his game and athleticism is closer to Kareem Abdul Jabbar’s. Following this, he went on to name another player whom LeBron resembles.

Worthy shared, “His ability to will reminds me of Magic. You know you’re comfortable with him on the floor cuz you know something is going to happen good?I like his body work and you know he’ll be mentioned in the top three or four.”

In an interview with ESPN, former St. Vincent-St. Mary High School coach, Keith Dambrot spoke about how James has a playing style similar to Johnson.

He shared, “I envisioned him being more like Magic going into the league, and we worked hard on trying to make him a point guard.?

The present-day Head Coach at Duquesne University added, ??I thought he’d lead the league in assists. I never in a million years thought he’d lead the league in scoring.“?
