After being married for 9 years, Shaquille O’Neal and his former wife Shaunie Henderson finalized their divorce in 2011. Over the years, the Los Angeles Lakers legend has revealed that he regrets losing one of the best people in his life because of his own mistakes. However, Henderson has moved on and met someone new in her life.

For Shaunie, her second marriage has finally brought her the true essence of happiness. The 49-year-old spoke openly during a recent episode of Basketball Wives about how her new husband has changed her life.

“Oh, I’m glowing. I’m the happiest probably I’ve ever been, to be honest. He (Pastor Keion Henderson) is just an amazing human being. And the life we are building together, I feel myself being a better person, and I’m proud of me,” said Shaunie Henderson to former Lakers player John Salley.

John Salley has worked with the show since its early days. However, in recent years, he has been exclusively joining the show for their reunion episodes. In the latest one, while talking to Shaunie about her life and how happy she is now, Salley was happy to hear that Henderson was doing well.

Shaunie believes that she is a better person for being with Pastor Keion. The two are working together and she even promoted an event held by the pastor. She is happy, and her husband is one of the main reasons behind it. While Shaunie and Shaquille O’Neal still co-parent their kids, she is happy to have found the love of her life.

While his first marriage did not work out as planned, the 4x champion revealed in an interview that if there is a second wife, then things won’t be the same. He has said that the next person that he is with will consider him to be the best husband, as Shaq has learned from his previous mistakes.

Shaquille O’Neal was not faithful to Shaunie. He has admitted that he lost his perfect marriage because of his own mistakes. Now that the two are moving on with their own lives, Shaq hopes to be better and eventually be a good partner.
