O’Neal praised Myles Turner during a part of “House of Highlights,” deflecting attention from Tyrese Haliburton’s performance, which was the intended topic of discussion. This fueled more conversation on Turner’s role in the Pacers’ postseason success. Many observers and supporters who were analyzing Shaq’s remarks cited Turner’s steady play throughout the series as proof of his underrated skill and value to the team. However, O’Neal also shared his thoughts on Milwaukee’s prospects of beating them.

Shaquille O’Neal’s perspective on the team’s potential

With a 125-108 victory on Tuesday, the Indiana Pacers tied the Milwaukee Bucks for the first-round series. After making 16 of 23 shots, Pascal Siakam finished with 37 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists to lead all scorers. In the second game, the Pacers’ Myles Turner (22) and Andrew Nembhard (20) each scored more than 20 points.

Without Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is presently sidelined due to a left calf injury, the Bucks have struggled. Without Giannis returning from injury, Shaquille O’Neal questioned Milwaukee’s chances of winning this first-round series. “We all know they (Pacers) play different at home than they do on the road,” O’Neal continued. “They’re going to play a much faster pace, and if that three-ball is falling and Siakam is playing like that… They don’t have a chance.”

In regards to Game 3 and their probable inability to win away from home without their star forward, Charles Barkley concurred with O’Neal’s analysis. “They beat them four out of five with Giannis,” Barkley stated. “Without Giannis, I don’t think they got any chance of beating those guys.” Eventually, each player’s potential for success will be taken into consideration as the playoffs unfold with more attention.
