Luka Doncic Shares the Same Air as Michael Jordan, Claims Mavs Coach Only to be Endorsed by Shaquille O’Neal

You throw a new name in the GOAT talk, there’s going to be opinions. Jason Kidd knew what he was doing when he advocated for his star player to be included in league with Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. After Luka Doncic situated himself between Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain in NBA history, Shaquille O’Neal seems to endorse the Dallas coach’s hot take.
Jason Kidd didn’t stutter when he said, “He’s [Doncic] better than Dirk [Nowitzki],” on the Downbeat radio show. “He’s in the atmosphere of MJ, the best to ever do it, LeBron, Kobe.”
Shaq, a big fan of the Mavs powerhouse, reshared Kidd’s statement on his Instagram Stories. He didn’t provide additional context, but he’s known to throw in new names into the GOAT hat too.

Doncic set the Dallas Mavericks record with 73 points in a single game. He also ranks fourth in NBA history after Wilt Chamberlain’s 100-point record, Kobe Bryant’s 81-point game, and against Wilt’s 78-point game. When asked if Coach Kidd is upset about Doncic throwing off the game plan for the record, Kidd would claim Wonderboy is the game plan. After all, Doncic’s playoff average of 32.5 PPG is second only to Jordan’s 33.45.

Doncic has broken Nowitzki’s, who won the franchise’s 2011 title record at only 24. His coach sees that his trajectory is only upwards from here. “Just to appreciate what this young man’s doing at the age of 24… is something that Dallas has never seen.”

Shaquille O’Neal’s played it safe
Shaq doesn’t take the greatest of all-time discussion lightly either. He called out Stephen A. Smith for excluding Kobe Bryant from it. O’Neal has also teeter-tottered on the discussion but leans towards Jordan. That didn’t stop him for lowkey campaigning for Stephen Curry’s inclusion recently.
That was another huge debate that he stirred. That’s probably why he’s not made an outright endorsement for Doncic yet. However, he surprised more than a few by picking Shai Gilgeous-Alexander over Doncic in terms of dominance. After Doncic gave him reason to be noticed, Shaq resorted to flaunting his Slovenian he’s finally getting the hang of.

After winning the game against the Hawks, Doncic casually put on the headset not expecting the 73 points to be a topic at TNT. Shaq translated a few English sentences into Slovenian, including his long-running catchphrase, “Google me Chuck.” The correct pronunciation and not mixing it with Russian shocked Doncic. Shaq went 3-2 in his Slovenian pop quiz. As impressive as scoring 73 points in one game. Don’t you agree?
