Game 2 between the Wolves and the Dallas Mavericks revealed a few things that many did not expect. It showcased Luka Doncic and Co.’s determination to make it to the Finals, and Anthony Edwards’ flaws, but most importantly we also got to know that Jamal Crawford is a magician. The 3x 6MOTY joined NBA X Live where he, along with Channing Frye and Taylor Rooks called the game on live television. While fans were confused as to who would be taking the last shot, Crawford went on to accurately detail the last play, from start to end, even the game-winning celebration.

Just a few minutes before the last possession of game 2, Rooks asked Crawford and Channing Frye to pick a player for a game-winning shot. Frye predicted Dereck Lively II to dunk the ball to tie the game. However, Crawford shared, “It’s gonna be in Luka’s hand. He’s going to shoot a stepback threeI think he makes it, he will hop on one leg. I’m telling you. I’m telling you.”

Just a few seconds later, Luka Doncic made Rudy Gobert dance on the three-point line and also hit a step-back three to seal game 2. But most importantly, just like Crawford said, the Slovenian guard started to hop off one leg after he released the ball.

Right after the play ended, a proud Crawford shared, “Everything is documented. I even told you how he was gonna hop on the leg. It’s over. Watch the hop, watch the hop. What did I tell you? That was it.” The best part is that Crawford said he would leave the set if his prediction turned into reality. After things went exactly his way, the New York Knicks icon said, “I love y’all. I really do. I can’t come back.” Bet is a bet!

Crawford did not stop with his. He also went on to flex the above win through his Twitter.

Jamal Crawford announces “Crawsturdamus” after predicting the game-winner

The 44-year-old retired veteran will not forget this moment for the rest of his life. The prediction was a bit too accurate that no one might repeat something like this in the future. What are the chances? Anyhow, Crawford decided to highlight his win once again. The former Brooklyn Nets star tweeted, ““ BAR For BAR, line for line” Crawsturdamus strikes again!”, which the fans appreciated.

Crawford’s stint with TNT just came to an end a few days ago. He was announcing the games alongside Indiana Pacers icon Reggie Miller, and legendary broadcaster Kevin Harlan in the Western Conference Semi-Finals. Before game 7 between Wolves vs Nuggets, Crawford shared on X, My last night calling games for the playoffs. Thank y’all for allowing me to share the stage with youWhat a run it’s been!”

Now within a week, Crawford has impressed the live audience once again. So maybe, it’s time to put the former NBA veteran back on TNT!
