The Los Angeles Lakers have had some legendary players over the years. It is arguably impossible to pick the best Laker ever as everyone has a different perspective on the term “best”. Similarly, it is very hard to find the best #1 pick ever as well. Notably, legends like Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaquille O?Neal, and LeBron James are some historical #1 picks. And they have arguably lived up to the expectations. As everyone has their say of the best ever, a hilarious animation depicted the stars arguing why they are the best.

It is hard to compare players from different eras. However, that doesn’t stop the fans or the media from debating about the best player ever. Ultimately, it has now come to the players’ animated characters arguing as well.

Shaquille O?Neal and other stars’ avatars debate

RiOT Comedy is a channel popular for its funny animated skits about the NBA. The page has over 194,000 followers on Instagram alone and already has over 1000 posts as well. Also, the page is notably followed by Shaquille O?Neal. One of their recent cartoons depicted Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Magic Johnson, Shaq, and LeBron James debating about who the best first pick ever is while waiting to get a haircut.

Initially, James’ character was seen bragging to O’Neal, “Everyone knows I’m the best #1 pick ever!”. The Big Diesel replies, “Stop it! I’m the only #1 pick to three-peat.” Understandably, Abdul-Jabbar had something to say as well. His avatar stated, “Six rings, six MVPs! Case closed!”.

The five-time NBA champion and the barber rolled up their sleeves insinuating they are about to fight. However, Williamson’s character couldn’t care less. He was worried about not getting a haircut.

Zion Williamson came into the league with massive hype. However, his time in the league has been plagued with injuries.

Even though he has shown flashes of greatness whenever he’s completely fit, there are still doubts. Especially after all the off-the-court controversies he has been involved in recent times.

Amidst this, Williamson promised that he is “in the process of fixing those wrongs”. Only time will tell if the highly touted prospect can become a consistent All-Star in the NBA.
