Did Magic Johnson travel all the way to Saint Tropez just to work out? The five-time NBA champion and his wife, Earlitha “Cookie” Johnson, have kicked off their annual yacht vacation in style. But that’s no excuse for Johnson to miss his workout sessions. Before joining his wife and friends to party all night, Johnson headed to lift some weights.

Among the various pictures shared on his Instagram, one shows Johnson lifting dumbbells as part of his workout routine. Enjoying my morning workout with an incredible view today!” he captioned as the videos covered the scenic views of the water around. There’s no compromise on staying fit and active for the three-time NBA Finals MVP even at the age of 64. And the vacation joy continues too!

Following his workout, Johnson got dressed for a special 80s-themed party on the yacht. He also expressed his gratitude to the Phoenix 2 staff for all the arrangements at the lavish accommodation featuring seven cabins. As many might know, Johnson’s yacht trip isn’t complete without his friends. His best buddies Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya, Richardson Jackson Cedric the Entertainer, and Lorna Wells, John, and Vicky Palmer all joined the couple in the celebrations.

Before France, the yacht took a trip around the Spanish island of Ibiza, as seen in the photos shared by the Johnsons. While Johnson and his friends are ‘back to the 80s’ party, we are back again scrolling through Johnson’s Instagram feed like Jimmy Kimmel.

Magic Johnson brings in Jimmy Kimmel’s poster

We can all relate to talk show host Jimmy Kimmel. He has been waiting for an invitation to the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s opulent yacht vacation for more than six years. But his wish has been in vain.

Last year, Kimmel had a clever idea. He photoshopped himself and his wife, Molly McNearney, into the pictures Johnson shared. This year, the Lakers legend took an even more interesting way to troll the host. Although Kimmel wasn’t invited, Johnson took a poster of him on the trip. He and his wife hilariously posed with the poster for pictures and shared it on his Instagram.

He then posted another picture where a poster of Kimmel dressed as a chef appeared in the kitchen alongside expert chef Daisy and pantry chef Hannah. Johnson captioned it, I sent my plane to pick up my good friend Jimmy Kimmel to join in on the fun in Saint-Tropez for the day! I knew he was a jack of all trades but between taking over the dance floor and showing off his culinary skills to Chef Daisy and Pastry Chef Hannah, he was the star of the night!”

The host also responded with humor and wrote, “There’s a Kinkos on that boat??” Well, at least the Lakers legend saved Kimmel a lot of photoshopping work.
