The Lost Lands at Thornville, Ohio, is heaven for disc jockeys. Known as the biggest mosh pit in the world, the Lost Lands has the capacity to hold 80,000 people for one show. To be able to perform in front of such a humongous crowd must be a blessing. Well, Shaq has received it four times already. What was new this time? Shaq got a bestie!

26-year-old EDM sensation Ray Volpe joined Shaq to spend some wholesome time at the mosh pit. In a video from his Instagram story, Volpe shared, “reunited with bestie,” as he stood next to the 7-foot giant. Shaq replied, “Did we just become best friends?”, to which Volpe confirmed, “Yes we did”

DJ Diesel’s first appearance was in 2018, when he stunned the crowd by performing a complete set for more than 50,000 people. After a three-year gap, Shaq yet again starred at the Lost Lands in 2021, but this time for a much larger audience as the size of the pit was increased further.

Looks like Volpe is already close enough to make jokes about Shaq. Sharing another pic of him with Shaq on his Instagram handle, Volpe quoted, “One of us is 5’5, one of us is 7’1” and added, “not gonna say which one is which”. That was not it, though.

In another story, Volpe shared, “Life is crazy wtf, @djdiesel thank you”, as he vibed to Shaq’s bangers. Safe to say, Shaq added another bestie to his list.

Shaq is yet to share updates on the show on his social media. While many await, we would like to know your thoughts about Shaq’s success as a DJ. Share your take in the comments below.
