Intrigue is likely to intensify with more than one reason to watch ‘The Traitors’ game show. With reality stars like Parvati Shallow and Peter Weber joining boxing legend Deontay Wilder and former British politician John Bercow, the murder mystery thriller seems to have something for everyone. But among the multiple twists is the debut of the couple Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen. They are the first publicized couple to appear on the series, making this game of trust and betrayal all the more scandalous.
In a recent interview, Michael Jordan‘s son delved into whether his relationship with Larsa serves as a boon or a bust in the show. While exploring the potential obstacles the duo may encounter, Marcus revealed how he views competing with and against his girlfriend.

Larsa Pippen is Marcus Jordan’s double-edged sword
During the interview with Parade, Marcus was questioned on whether he views his relationship as an advantage or a disadvantage on the show. Michael Jordan’s second eldest elaborated on how their relationship does carry significance. The 33-year-old also explained that he felt a bit unprepared, even when compared to his girlfriend, Larsa. He stated, “I definitely feel like there’s a slight target on our back. One, for me, being a rookie at reality TV and competition shows, but also having my girlfriend here.”
However, talking about the pros, Marcus believes, “I feel like the other players wish they had their significant others here.” A rather heartwarming sentiment from ‘The Trophy Room’ owner. In a game of high stakes betrayal, Jordan and Pippen probably rested a little easier knowing they had each other’s backs.
Peacock has begun streaming season 2 of the acclaimed reality show. With 22 contestants in a Scottish castle, there are “Traitors” or “Faithfuls” in the show where one will strive to navigate the game undetected, and the latter will work to expose them. The Bafta-winning series will offer a prize of up to £120,000 to the winners.

Marcus and Larsa want to win, but at what cost?
MJ Jr. explained his readiness for whatever challenges arise in the show, even if it involves betraying or being betrayed by his beau. Yet, he admitted that he would still feel somewhat disappointed if his partner, Larsa, were to betray him.
During the same interview, Marcus said, “I think we came into the game both wanting to win but we talked about it before and there’s no hard feelings.” He added, “But I definitely feel like if I get stabbed in the back by Larsa it will sting a little bit.”
