Charles Barkley revealed some juicy secrets of his life recently. On an episode of The Steam Room podcast, Barkley talked about Martha Stewart and the “thirst traps” that she posts. What started as a regular conversation on cookouts and invitations for the same, soon turned into Barkley’s confession session.

The 60-year-old confessed that he knows about the “thirst traps” and often finds himself scrolling through them. Although Barkley doesn’t know what they are called, he knows what he is looking at.

Sir Charles said, “So Martha Stewart, she’s been doing these, I think they call them thirst things, take provocative pictures.” When someone from the staff corrected him with the real term, “thirst traps”, Barkley said that young kids keep coming up with terms like this, then proceeded with his confession. He said, “So Martha Stewart’s been doing these thirst trap pictures, Ernie.” Although Ernie Johnson tried to deviate from the topic, Barkley wanted to come clean on it.

Confused by the hilarious revelation by Barkley, EJ asked where he is taking the conversation, but Barkley was unbothered. “Martha Stewart’s been taking these thirst trap pictures lately. They are intriguing I want to say.” When asked about whether he has seen these pictures and how he would describe them, Barkley admitted that he had seen the pictures and said, “I was thirsty.” Barkley has always been an outspoken individual, but we rarely get to hear such confessions from him: that area belongs more to his best friend, Shaquille O’Neal. Shaq himself had some strange confessions to make recently.

Shaq recently had Alycia Baumgardner, a 29-year-old super featherweight boxer on his podcast. The Big Man asked her who was the biggest name to have slid into her DM’s, knowing very well what the answer was going to be. When Baumgardner initially hesitated to give his name, Shaq insisted she tell the truth.

The 29-year-old said, “I wanna say, Shaq O’Neal. I think he jumped in the DMs.” Shaq’s reason for doing so? “When I saw her, I didn’t know she was a boxer. I saw the boxing thing and I saw this pretty girl with some big arms,” he said. The Big Man immediately cleared his name of any controversy by asking her if he was flirting or just giving a compliment. He was indeed giving a compliment. It’ll be interesting to see what happens if Ernie or Kenny Smith brings the confessions by two best friends on the next episode of Inside the NBA.
