The sports world is no newcomer to the players’ love for golf. Outside the strenuous and arduous training in their respective games, many athletes love swinging their clubs. From Michael Jordan to Stephen Curry, the list of stars who enjoy golf is quite long. Another enthusiast of the sport is former NBA guard J. J. Redick. Soon after retirement, Redick went on to try his hand at golf. Looking at the former Philadelphia 76ers player’s line-up of the best golfers, Jordan and golf icon Tiger Woods were joined by another NBA great.

J.J Redick reveals his favorite foursome of golf

The 39-year-old has often mentioned his love for golf. Redick stated how the game of golf managed to rekindle the same vigor and competitiveness he found in basketball. Recently, during a segment called ‘JJ Mailbag’, the famed NBA host revealed the roster of his favorite players. The list included sporting giants Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods alongside himself. The last name was rather interesting.

Redick added Stephen Curry to the line-up. Recently, Curry surprised fans with an astounding victory in the American Century Championship on the back of a brilliant performance.

Redick has previously stated his admiration for the 4x NBA champion. If this new line-up is any indication, fans might witness the friendship of two great basketball players. The addition of the dynamic duo of Jordan and Woods brings greatness to the roster. While Jordan is not a professional golfer, he has shown tremendous competitiveness and energy on the course.  

“That’s easy. To get to see the greatest golfer of all time, the greatest basketball player of all time to some people, and the greatest shooter of all time,” Redick revealed. He once revealed why golf was the greatest sport of all time as well.

Quite clearly, Redick is totally obsessed with the game. Redick even called golf one of the greatest sports ever. He likes the challenging spirit of the game. He believed that due to golf having a handicap system, you always find a way to compete with yourself.
