What started off with basketball shoes by Michael Jordan‘s Jordan brand has so far extended to multiple other sports as well. One such collaboration by the Nike-owned Jordan brand was with the Eastside Golf brand. A recent interaction between Vince Carter and Shea Morris Swenson has revealed how collaborating with the $142 billion worth brand has helped Eastside Golf. The official Instagram account of Eastside Golf shared the video of the interaction, while also thanking Carter for his support.

“Thank you @mrvincecarter15 🏀 for believing and supporting the Eastside Golf⛳️ brand! After the @nba #Playoff Season over we got to tee it up,” read the caption to the video. The discussion between Carter and Swenson started along the lines of Eastside Golf, co-owner Earl A. Cooper’s efforts that brought the brand a long way from what they started.

“It just became a local popular because I’ve obviously, living in Atlanta, known about them, heard about them. And then going from, this is three, four years ago, possibly to seeing where they are now, and so they’re just getting that opportunity to crack into the door. Jordan Brand, I mean, it doesn’t get any better than that,” Carter said.

As for the collaboration with Michael Jordan’s brand, Swenson stated in his discussion how it started with just a Zoom call. “Jordan was on the Zoom, and they were like, ‘Oh, my goodness.’ Jordan’s like, ‘Yeah, let’s do one.’ And I think that shoe, that original shoe is still a $1,000 or more on Stock-X,” he said. Notably, the success of the brand can be seen in numerous celebrities going for it, which makes the future look even more promising for Eastside Golf.

Carter’s further discussion detailed how the Eastside Golf brand continues to do things the right way. Swenson states the brand has been successful in keeping itself with an authentic lifestyle culture. And he believes it will further integrate with the lifestyle culture. The two primary reasons behind this are people supporting the brand and the brand manufacturing good products. And with Michael Jordan’s brand getting involved, it will only evolve further because the Jordan brand also makes good products, as stated by the ex-Toronto Raptors star.

A closer look into Eastside Golf Brand

The official website defines Eastside Golf as a lifestyle brand. And it states the brand’s motive is to raise awareness about golf among youth and non-golfers.
