The mother of three has been achieving her own entrepreneurial dreams since her divorce from Jordan. She’s created her own community of loved ones, or tribe, as she called it, and Dr. Macon is part of it.
Vanoy, far from her Instagram newbie days, hyped Macon for her newest career notch. “Get your copy of Coming in Hot written by good friend and Tribe Sis,@tashionmaconphd. If you’re working in corporate or just considering it, she is giving you the blueprint. Available at Amazon,” she wrote.
Macon’s glowing resume includes serving as Dr Dre’s director of marketing at his company and has worked with Usher, Pink, the USOC Winter Olympics, Burger King, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. She’s been in the corporate world since the ’90s when she was working at Arista/LaFace Records. She’s taken that experience along with inspiration from Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou to publish her book, Coming in Hot: A Blueprint for Black Women Setting the World Ablaze.

Following her divorce from Jordan in 2006, Vanoy expressed her aspirations to have her own business in a 2013 interview. She put her aspirations on hold initially t to focus on raising Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine. When they were adults, she finally worked towards her professional dream. Vanoy owns a luxury online resale boutique, Juanita World, and also co-produced a Broadway production, Some Like It Hot.
Her children have also reciprocated her love and support in every way. Juanita Vanoy now hopes that women can take inspiration from her accomplished friends like Dr. Macon and, to paraphrase Beyonce, run the world.
