Michael Jordan has no compassion

MJ is among the elite club of the Sports world. This made him a subject of a book by Sam Smith, “The Jordan Rules“. The New York Times bestseller author speaks about the prominence of the Chicago Bulls legend. Following the book’s success, Sam decided to do an interesting piece, “There is no next“. This book carries the commentaries of various NBA personalities, including former Bulls’ coach Rod Thorn.

Rod describes MJ as “smart as hell as a player.” Jordan played basketball in his mind. His Airness had a very ruthless approach and was very rigorous in every single thing. The stringent nature of MJ made him fearsome. “He had no compassion,” Rod said.

As he got 40 points in one night at Washington, The Chicago Bulls legend showed no mercy to his teammates. That is how he played the game.

Rod shared an anecdote where Kenyon Martin told MJ that his back was hurt. And he was not sure if he should play or not. MJ got pretty furious about it as he never wanted to hear excuses, just the best version of players. Even it was not good enough.

The publication of the book, “There is no next,” coincided with the 30 years of Michael Jordan’s first appearance in the game.
