Following his father’s basketball shadow, Scottie Pippen Jr. is carving his own path. The 22-year-old is still a raw talent yet to stamp his place in the NBA. Last season he was a part of the Los Angeles Lakers averaging 2.3 points in six games. While the former Vanderbilt Commodores guard is still finding his right fit in the league, his popularity has intensified expeditiously. Pippen Jr. has amassed 488,000 followers on social media. But with popularity also comes the added responsibility of being cautious, something his mother is well aware of.

So when her boyfriend questioned her about the advice she has given her son as he enters the realm of professional basketball, the TV personality said she wants him to be “careful of the girls”.
According to Larsa Pippen, social media providing open access has made it much easier to connect with people. Reflecting on her time, she admitted not having ample chances to meet NBA stars. Sharing her own story, she shockingly admitted to not liking Scottie Pippen.
“He was friends with my friends. My friend was dating one of his teammates, Ron Harper. And that’s kind of how we met,” said The Real Housewives of Miami star on her podcast ‘Separation Anxiety’.
All she wants for ‘Little Scottie’ is to find the right woman. To do so she laid out some ‘dating rules’.
“I wanna make sure that Scottie Pippen Jr. meets a girl that kinda has stuffs to offer as well”.
But it seems those worries are a long way into the future for Larsa Pippen. Marcus Jordan admitted Scottie Pippen Jr’s unwavering drive to improve in his craft. His mother also stated he is ‘disciplined and hard working’. At 22, he has proven himself in the G-League. Now, he awaits the opportunity to mold his NBA story.
