Shaquille O’Neal’s kids are die-hard Lakers fans. One could understand since their father played for the franchise. But many of them consider LeBron James their GOAT. In fact, Myles even dissed the entire Clippers team because of the LA rivalry. Earlier this year, he even received a Kobe Bryant tribute from a $1.86 billion brand. And now, they showered the DJ again with another gift during the holiday season.

Myles once again received a gift from the luxury sneaker brand, Golden Goose. “Dear Myles, Happy Holidays from the Golden Goose. We know that Lightstar caught your eye and are excited to get you a pair.” There was a note along with the shoe Lightstar in metallic leather and silver mesh with gray star which is sold for $820. “Hope you enjoy. Can’t wait to see how you style them. With love, Golden Goose.” The brand previously sent a Kobe Bryant-related tribute shoe.

The white sneakers had details of Bryant’s Lakers statue embellished on it. While one side of the sneakers had the words “We love you” with a heart shape drawn on it, the other side also had more interesting details. A purple ‘L’ with golden lines for Lakers’ is embossed on it. A specific date, ‘2.8.24’, is also engraved on the sneakers.

Alongside the story, Myles wrote, “Thankyou @GoldenGoose 2/8/24.” The date is significant since it was the day Vanessa Bryant and the Lakers unveiled the first statue. The 19-foot bronze statue depicts Kobe Bryant’s right index finger in a skyward pose. This pose was after his career-high 81-point game on January 22, 2006, against the Toronto Raptors. The ceremony was in the Crypto.com Arena, with Shaquille O’Neal in attendance.

He presented a 360 DJ set in Shrine, Expo Hall, L.A., delivering the most enchanting and energetic performance. With 6,300 Angelenos in attendance alongside Rated R and Celo. “Happy Birthday Kobe, Looks like we took another championship in LA. 💜 💛 What better way to celebrate than a 360 set at a sold out @shrinela with the best teammates a guy can ask for.” The 4x NBA champion wrote in his IG post.”Gotta shoutout everyone who made this night a perfect success.”

So, in their respective ways, the father-son duo found ways to honor the Lakers #24. For Shaquille O’Neal, it was through his DJ set, and for Myles, it was because of the Golden Goose brand.
