One such name captures Gab’s heart today, adding to her list of ‘women crush’.

In yet another one of her LinkedIn posts honoring women, Gabrielle Union chose to speak about TV personality and author, Gayle King. “As co-host of CBS Mornings, Gayle King graces our screens daily with insightful interviews and impactful news coverage. Her iconic interviews blend thoughtfulness and compassion, forging meaningful connections with some of the world’s most influential figures,” she wrote.

That was only the beginning of the 4-para long affectionate and admiration-filled message Gab had for the award-winning journalist. The actress linked the post on her Instagram stories alongside a short clip of King adorning her many roles. “Women Crush Wednesday,” she added right beside.

Joining CBS in 2011, King has had interviews with the likes of former President Barack Obama, WNBA star Brittney Griner, Barbara Streisand, Elon Musk, Billie Eilish, and R. Kelly among tens and tens more. But that has only been one part of the 70-year-old’s majestic work. She has anchored some of CBS’ top breaking news as well as hosted her own syndicated daytime program. King has an unending resume to sum up.

Gayle King, you are the epitome of brilliance, grace, and strength. Thank you for demonstrating the transformative power of storytelling, the value of uplifting others, and the art of living a purposeful and authentic life. Let us lift her up in the light of goodness and hold her there,” Gab concluded.

Women Crush Wednesday has been an ongoing series of ‘women appreciation’ posts by the 52-year-old actress. She has consistently kept up with it since over a year ago, starting with Nedra Tawwab, a renowned mental health therapist, social worker, and writer. A loud advocate of women’s empowerment and self-acceptance herself, Gab has ventured into businesses and partnerships that speak of her cause. So the series has been no surprise from Gab.

But on a lighter note, the actress’ crushes extend beyond the weekly revelations too.

Gabrielle Union discloses her crush in the presence of Dwyane Wade

The Flawless co-founder shocked many with an honest remark about her greatest boy band in March last year. In the interview at SXSW 2024, Union was asked about her favorite boy band crush. “I’ve seen them in concert like today. They have a residency in Vegas. I will be there.” She called the legendary band *NSYNC her favorite. But that wasn’t all.

“What is your all-time favorite Hollywood Crush not named Dwayne?” she was also asked back in July. It was Stony Jackson.

“That is Stony Jackson… he was in Streets of Fire and T.J. hooker and he had a curl at the time he was, to me, so hot.” Although she had never met Jackson, this changed when she was at a live reboot for “The Facts of Life” back in 2021. Flabbergasted, she had struggled to even make a sentence. “I just said, ‘Stony Jackson, I just have to tell you [I might start crying] how much I loved you and like you are so fine. You are still fine,'” she recalled.

Gabrielle may have a long list and we do not know who would top it, but the actress sure knows to appreciate.
