The treacherous world of ‘The Traitors’ has participants grapple with numerous hardships. Yet, for Michael Jordan‘s son, there’s another hurdle. Though the couple have braved through a lot of media scrutiny together, the new reality series is likely to challenge them in ways they’ve never experienced. During a recent interview, Larsa expressed her enthusiasm about the same, while Marcus discussed encountering a new obstacle during filming.
Late last year, Marcus Jordan and his girlfriend, Larsa Pippen, announced their involvement in the second season of the murder mystery thriller game. On January 3, Peacock released the series’ first episode.

Marcus Jordan is worried that ‘The Traitors’ will “sting a little bit“
It has been a year since Marcus announced his relationship with his father’s former teammate’s ex-wife. After all the controversy surrounding their relationship began to die down, the duo decided to venture into the public eye through their podcast and ‘The Real Housewives of Miami’. But ‘The Traitors’ is something different altogether. It’s a murder mystery game show in which both traitors and faithful participants will be present.
Larsa and Marcus broke new ground as the first couple to appear on the game show with their publicized relationship. However, despite that the two are prepared to get competitive for the prize money. While discussing his motivation, Marcus Jordan mentioned being ready for potential betrayal from his partner, although he admits it won’t be easy.
The 33-year-old said, “I think we came into the game both wanting to win, but we talked about it before and there’s no hard feelings. But I definitely feel like if I get stabbed in the back by Larsa it will sting a little bit.”

Nevertheless, the couple has pledged to be supportive of the winner, regardless of who it is. During the interview with Parade, Larsa shared, “Whoever does win ‘The Traitors’, I will be their biggest supporter, because I feel like everyone is so amazing on this cast.” Both Larsa and Marcus also delved into the motives behind joining the show.

Why did Larsa and Marcus join The Traitors?
For Larsa, she found the allure in the challenges. Eager to push her boundaries, she wishes to explore the unprecedented nature of the show. The thrill-seeking 49-year-old said, “I didn’t know what the outcome was gonna be or if I was gonna be good or evil. So I was really excited about the challenges.”
Unlike Larsa Pippen, Michael Jordan’s son has a different reason for joining the show. He doesn’t like to have the camera focus too much on his personal life. Being a murder mystery fan, Marcus believes that the show shines the spotlight on the game rather than the participant’s personal life.
