NBA giant Magic Johnson will never stop surprising you. He is a man who goes above and beyond to make his fans happy. Just recently, he took New York by storm as he attended the birthday party of billionaire Greg Mondre’s son. Mondre is the co-CEO of a private firm, Silver Lake. Johnson engaged with the Mondre family before the Los Angeles Lakers overcame the Knicks 113-105. 

The 5x NBA champion took to his X account to express gratitude for the warm welcome at the birthday party that he celebrated along with the kids. Speaking of the interaction, he wrote, “I want to thank Greg Mondre and his wife Alexandra for inviting me out to hang out in their suite before the Knicks vs. Lakers game tonight! It was very cool hanging out with their sons Will and Jake, taking pictures, and celebrating Jake’s birthday with him and 17 of his friends!”

News4 community reporter Molette Green once revealed how a random teenager received a college scholarship from Magic. Furthermore, Johnson’s scholarship allowed another 18-year-old Omaha native to attend his desired place.

At the Empowerment Network’s 15th anniversary luncheon, Johnson also offered a scholarship to Darnell Jackson Jr. to attend MCC. Other than that, the legend makes numerous more charities to provide education and opportunities to young kids.
