Colorado Buffaloes are setting new trends all around and an NFL legend is at the helm of it. When Jackson State was in dire need of a rebuilding phase, Deion Sanders emerged with his unusual 40-40-20 recruitment formula. To elaborate, Sanders wanted to build a team with 40% graduate transfers, 40% undergraduate transfers and 20% high school. The formula, although unconventional, worked for JSU. Donning his trendsetting hat, Coach Prime has already started to make a difference in the Buffaloes outfit.

Sanders recently swapped the C of the Buffaloes’ captain patch with L & D. Makes no sense? Well, the letters stand for: “Leader” & “Dawg” respectively. How’s that for setting a trend? No wonder Sanders is getting noticed not only by fans but also by legends from other sports.

Sanders has always proved his words with his actions. Just like recently, he shut down all his haters and doubters as he led the Buffaloes to success after an upsetting performance last year.
