Colorado Buffaloes are setting new trends all around and an NFL legend is at the helm of it. When Jackson State was in dire need of a rebuilding phase, Deion Sanders emerged with his unusual 40-40-20 recruitment formula. To elaborate, Sanders wanted to build a team with 40% graduate transfers, 40% undergraduate transfers and 20% high school. The formula, although unconventional, worked for JSU. Donning his trendsetting hat, Coach Prime has already started to make a difference in the Buffaloes outfit.

Sanders recently swapped the C of the Buffaloes’ captain patch with L & D. Makes no sense? Well, the letters stand for: “Leader” & “Dawg” respectively. How’s that for setting a trend? No wonder Sanders is getting noticed not only by fans but also by legends from other sports.

After Shaquille O’Neal and Magic Johnson, the 56-year-old NFL coach has managed to win the former Miami Heat player, Dwyane Wade’s heart as well. How do you think the coach inspired Wade?

Coach Prime always impressed and inspired young minds with his wisdom. His “Never Give Up” attitude impressed the NBA legend O’Neal as he shared Sanders’ clip on his IG story. Recently, his words of being the trendsetter were approved by Wade as well. The former Heat player shared a clip featuring Sander’s words on his IG.

In the clip, the Pro Football Hall of Fame said the following words, “I don’t follow trends. I set them. I don’t follow style I set style I never in my life looked at somebody and said, let me see what he got on site. No No. I make you look down at yourself when you see me.”

Sanders has always proved his words with his actions. Just like recently, he shut down all his haters and doubters as he led the Buffaloes to success after an upsetting performance last year.
