The 2024 Grammy Awards was almost the Taylor Swift show. Kendrick Perkins is pitching for the Super Bowl being the Taylor Swift extravaganza too. Her romance with Super Bowl-bound Travis Kelce is the best thing to happen to the NFL. Her music career is at its peak too. After she won Album of the Year and more at the Grammys, the ESPN analyst thinks Swift could win the biggest football award second to the championship.

“Taylor winning the Grammy and Super Bowl MVP within 7 days is gonna be crazy,” he cheekily wrote on X. He’s, of course, implying that the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback could win MVP honors for her after the big game on February 11. Or he thinks Swift should win MVP just for the business she’s given to the NFL.

It would be another notch in Swift’s award collection. Tonight, she added AOTY and Best Pop Vocal Album to her list of achievements. She also used her acceptance speech to announce to announce her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department. 

Kendrick Perkins should be the happiest about that. He’s showing major Swiftie Syndrome when he expressed what everyone’s been craving – A Taylor Swift-headlined Halftime Show.

Kendrick Perkins wants the Taylor Swift Show

8x Grammy Winner Usher is leading the Super Bowl Halftime Show this time with some featuring artists. The “Bad Blood” songstress is not among them though she’s likely to be in the Allegiant Stadium in Vegas. After the Chiefs won the AFC Championship, Perk was on X again with an interesting idea.

“Taylor Swift might as well perform… hell she’s going to be there anyway! That damn Kelce and Mahomes just keep making s**t happen.” He’s speaking for all the Swifties who are manifesting the same. That last bit referred to the difficult win Kelce and Mahomes secured. However, Taylor Swift’s presence strikes like a lucky charm for the Chiefs.

Riding on her Grammy high, Swift will be one with the Chiefs fans on Sunday. She might possibly steal the spotlight from Usher just for being there. After all, she was the dominant topic when she was on the field to congratulate Kelce after the AFC win. If the Chiefs win the ring and Kelce wins MVP, it’s a bigger win for Swifties everywhere.
