Larsa Pippen has mastered the art of evolving with the times. She became a household name on The Real Housewives of Miami, but she’s not just a reality star. Even though she is not single anymore, Larsa remembers the struggles she went through when she was. “I was single in Miami. My girlfriends were single.” So, she has turned her journey, especially in dating, into a business opportunity. Larsa was frustrated with the flaws in today’s dating scene. But she turned the frustration into an opportunity.

Larsa is now cashing in on her hard-earned wisdom, partnering with an AI-driven dating app she co-developed. The app eliminates common issues like fake profiles, privacy concerns, and shallow connections. This isn’t Larsa’s first venture, though. She has been steadily building her brand. From Larsa Marie, a skincare line born from her routine, to savvy investments in real estate and fashion. She has a sharp eye for what’s next, and now she’s setting her sights on the massive $6 billion dating industry.

In her words, “We started researching dating apps, and we couldn’t find the dating app that suited us. I just wanted a dating app that felt safe,” she told Us. “So I helped create Date.com, and it is legit the most amazing dating app.” That’s the perfect definition of an entrepreneur: spot a problem and monetize the solution! Safe to say, she has found a perfect partner in Data.com, and Larsa’s favorite part about the app is its communication feature. Her privacy preferences are perfectly met with the help of this facility, and she loves that. So what does it hold?

“I never wanted to give guys my phone number. I wanted to get to know them first and not necessarily give them my number so quickly,” she explainedIt’s a valid emotion to feel, especially for celebrity women. If the phone numbers get leaked, there can be endless spam calls ruining one’s life, and that’s what she wants to protect in this industry. “But there’s no fast way of getting to know someone and let you hear their voice or see them.”

However, even with the possible risks, there is no better way to get to know someone than speaking with them over calls or text messages. “And so data.com has voice calling, video calling, and you could send mass text messages.” Well, what an opportunity they seized, especially when in today’s world, where privacy holds a huge value. Frankly, that’s a classic Larsa move.

From actors to athletes, Larsa Pippen’s dating journey at a glance

Larsa Pippen’s romantic history is like a Hollywood drama. Full of glamor, heartbreak, and reinvention. When The Real Housewives of Miami premiered in 2011, she was the picture of luxury as Scottie Pippen’s wife. Raising their four kids in a Miami estate. But behind the scenes, their 23-year marriage was breaking down. By 2021, it was over, and Larsa was left with the reality of dating again.

“I feel like I was married to a really famous guy that was really cute, had a good body… So, where the hell are you gonna find a guy that can, like, fill in. Doesn’t have to be all of those, but a few of those boxes?” she said. The transition wasn’t easy for her. But it was a series of high-profile flings and, eventually, a business venture born from her own dating struggles.

Post-divorce, Larsa’s love life became really public. There was rapper Future, she credited him for pulling her out of a dark place, though she quickly clarified, “It was never that serious. It was not like people think it was.” Then came Tristan Thompson (pre-Khloé Kardashian) and a romance with Malik Beasley, which fizzled after just four months. Larsa defended her relationship with Malik. She said, “If you spent a minute Googling their situation, it wasn’t the ideal situation way before me.”

But it was her relationship with Marcus Jordan that felt like a turning point. What started as a friendship turned serious after a bout of jealousy. “There was a girl that was there… and I was getting jealous… And so then, I was thinking maybe I do really like him.” They even discussed marriage on RHOM, with Larsa vowing, “I’d definitely change [my] last name.” Yet by July 2024, they had split. Now, in 2025, she’s with former pro baller Jeff Coby.
